On May 6, 2018, the day of her birth, Angelica was incredibly beautiful. She had lovely eyes, a charming button nose, and a lovely heart-shaped port wine stain on her face. Marianna Bowering, Angelica’s mother, said that even though many of her friends and family are aware of Angelica’s birthmark, some of them still feel the need to make remarks about her daughter’s appearance. The worst internet comment Bowering had ever received was someone asking if her face had been forced onto a skillet”. Marianna claimed that among other epithets, her daughter had also heard her called “hideous” and a “defect.”. The family’s issues were exacerbated by the brutality and insensitivity of these remarks, but they persisted and were determined to overcome them, which resulted in a stunning turn of events. Bowering is doing everything in her power to make sure Angelica grows up understanding that, despite the crude remarks, she is beautiful just the way she is. The 27-year-old mother recently decided to cosmetically mimic her 5-year-old daughter’s birthmark on her face. The Epoch Times cited Bowering as saying, “I got the idea from vascular birthmark awareness day when they encourage people to paint a heart on the cheeks. I was going to draw a heart with makeup, but I changed my mind and went outside to make Angelica’s port wine stain. Marianna became irate when some people advised her that her child’s facial spots would fade with time while others said she could cover them up if she wanted with makeup.
These comments only served to increase the mother’s distress and annoyance as she questioned why her daughter should be encouraged to hide rather than embrace her natural beauty.
It served as a painful reminder of the terrible realities that await those who fall short of beauty standards. On the other hand, it also stressed the importance of valuing acceptance and love for everyone, regardless of appearance.
In Bowering’s and her husband’s opinion, their daughter should never have felt self-conscious about her birthmark. They actively make an effort to make sure that they are conscious of the need to celebrate it.
Bowering sprinkled glitter before the corresponding “birthmark” to make Angelica’s port wine stain sparkle”.
Bowering told TODAY that Angelica is in good health, but children with port wine stains on their faces run the risk of experiencing serious health issues.
Test results, according to Bowering, show that Angelica is in perfect health. We should have regular checkups, especially for her eyes because glaucoma might be a problem. ”.
What a stunning woman you are, Angelica. Never listen to anyone trying to convince you otherwise.
Marianna, thank you for being such a good mother and for reassuring your daughter that her birthmark is normal so frequently.
