Fitness expert Heidi Powell told the amazing tale of Jacqueline, who shed 170 kg without the help of a trainer. The experience of Jacqueline serves as a constant reminder that “anything is possible. Styleoga is committed to assisting people in achieving their fitness goals and holds this belief to be true.
“At Disneyland, I experienced some self-consciousness when using a wheelchair. It was embarrassing as everyone gawked, scoffed, and admired the obese girl on wheels who was unable to even stand. ”.
“I knew I wouldn’t fit, which killed me, even though I told my sister and Kevin I didn’t want to ride the coasters. I consented to join a few rides that I believed I could fit on, but I overlooked a small detail. ”.
As I waited at the turnstile to watch Kevin and my sister enter, I experienced terrible guilt. I was astonished that I had permitted myself to grow to be so large. I cried as I used the restroom. ”.
A few days after I turned 25, I understood that I needed to change. The need to address my weight dawned on me one morning. I wanted to get better.
I remember feeling ready, determined, overwhelmed, and afraid as I left the center that day. ”.
“By May 2013, I had gotten to about half of my target weight. For me, this was a major accomplishment, and I was eager to keep losing weight to reach my target. In August 2013, Kevin, Jenny, and I visited Disneyland once more with my cousins. Although it was a big accomplishment for me, I was worried about how I would appear and feel in public. Fortunately, it was my family’s first time visiting Disneyland, so I couldn’t resist.
Although I needed a wheelchair, I was eager to experience the attractions. My cousins took my hand and led the way as we were waiting in line. I could fit on every ride and avoided getting stuck in any turnstiles, even though it was emotionally difficult for me. I decided to stop letting my weight prevent me from enjoying life. ”.
“I had always thought of Disneyland as a place where dreams were realized. On Christmas Eve, Kevin got down on one knee in front of the castle, and I was over the moon. ”.
“I had already lost a significant amount of weight and was halfway there. I was engaged to the man who had always stood by me and weighed 200 pounds less than when we first visited Disneyland. No matter how long it took, I was going to get married in the body I had worked so hard to get, next to the man who had supported me through everything. ”.
“Losing weight has been an amazing accomplishment for me, but I’m struggling with the extra skin. It’s unpleasant, resulting in headaches, rashes, and back and neck pain. ”.
“I’m still waiting for the insurance company to approve the procedure because they view surgery to remove extra skin as cosmetic. I’m attempting to be upbeat about the future, despite the fact that I’m still recovering from my first procedure. I want to live my remaining time in a way that will make me proud. ”.
