Candace Cameron Bure isn’t the first celebrity to move away from Los Angeles in recent years, and chances are she won’t be the last.
The former Full House actress recently opened to Fox News Digital about her decision to move her family away from the City of Angels.

“We didn’t feel safe anymore,” she admitted. “And that was the biggest reason that we moved.”

The 48-year-old actress and mother of three adult children explained how not everyone who lives in Los Angeles lives behind gates, and since they didn’t they often found their safety in jeopardy.
She recalled how over the past few years her family had issues with people taking photos, hiding on their property, and even approaching their door.
“It’s amazing what people feel they can do,” she said. “And wanting to be a part of your life in some way. Some of it is innocent, some of it wasn’t. But it’s quite unnerving when you’re just trying to be a person and live life, and you don’t know what’s around the corner.”

Recently, she took to Instagram to address a frequently asked question.
Yes, the Bure family had moved from Los Angeles.
“‘Why?’ Mostly for security reasons,” she shared on her Instagram Story. “Also, family dynamics have changed. The kids don’t live in Los Angeles anymore. Mama will go where they go! I travel a lot. The seasons of life.”
While she didn’t share with her fans where she moved, she told Fox News Digital that she’s still in California.
‘There have been all kinds of stories as to where we moved, and none of them are right,” Bure said. “None of them. We didn’t move to Nashville. We didn’t move to Texas. We’re actually still in California. We just moved up north. We’re no longer in Los Angeles.”
It’s completely understandable that Bure and her family would want to move if so-called fans approach the family at their private residence.
